Madison Group‘s senior management team consists of trusted minds, expertise and experience in a number of industries including, real estate, industrial and electrical automation, business intelligence and media as well as other industry sectors.

The Team

John DeLucchi

PRESIDENT AND CEO
MADISON GROUP AND MADISON PACIFIC PROPERTIES

Prior to joining the Madison Group, John served as the BC Region Managing Partner at PwC from 2009 to 2017. John was elected to the board of PwC Canada and served as a director from 2018 to 2020. John worked with PwC for over 35 years having served as a partner for 21 years. John joined the Madison Group in April of 2020.

During his career at PwC, John primarily worked with publicly listed and large, professionally run private companies in Canada and the US. Most of the companies John worked with are multinational companies with operations spanning numerous countries.

John is a FCPA and currently serves as a director on the board of Madison Pacific Properties. John is also on the board of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and previously served on several business association and not for profit boards, including the Business Council of B.C., Covenant House Vancouver, United Way and more.

Dino Di Marco

PRESIDENT AND CEO
MADISON INDUSTRIAL GROUP

Dino joined the Madison Group in 2013 and has held various financial executive leadership roles in the Madison Group. Prior to his current appointment, Dino was the Group’s CFO and Executive Vice-President. As President and CEO of the Madison Industrial Group, Dino has overall responsibility for the management and execution of the Industrial Group’s business and strategic objectives. Dino currently continues to play a leadership role in the parent Madison Group.

Prior to joining the Madison Group, Dino held roles as the CFO of a multi-family residential developer and as the CFO of a biotechnology firm developing cancer therapeutics. He also worked with the Professional Services firm of PwC for several years. During his time with PwC in Canada and Italy, Dino worked with both public and private companies and advised them on mergers and acquisitions, financings, operating and corporate governance.

Dino holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Simon Fraser University and is a CPA and Chartered Accountant.

Mark Melville

PRESIDENT AND CEO
GLACIER MEDIA

Mark joined Glacier in 2012, initially overseeing the company’s M&A and strategic partnering activities, before overseeing the growth of Glacier’s business information and data businesses. In May 2023 he assumed his current role as President and CEO, where he oversees the operations and strategic direction of Glacier’s portfolio of businesses.

Prior to Glacier, Mark spent a decade in Silicon Valley in executive positions at three venture backed technology companies, two of which were acquired by Amazon and Compuware. Mark started his career as a strategy consultant with the Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), working in Hong Kong and Toronto, advising multinationals such as AT&T, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola.

Mark holds an honour’s finance degree from UBC, and an MBA and MPA degree from Harvard Business School and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

Bruce Stebbings

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CFO
MADISON INDUSTRIAL GROUP

As Executive Vice President and CFO, Bruce oversees Madison Industrial Group’s strategic priorities and initiatives, finance and tax, strategic partnerships, human and capital management, and information technology.

Prior to this leadership role with the Madison Industrial Group, Bruce was in the role of Vice-President, Finance for seven years within this group and for four years as Corporate Controller with Glacier Media. Bruce has also been involved in a number of strategic initiatives for the Madison Group.

Bruce is a CPA, CA, an alumnus of KPMG, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Victoria.

Orest Smysnuik

CFO
GLACIER MEDIA

As Chief Financial Officer, Orest oversees Glacier’s financial and business operations, information technology, and human resources portfolios.

Before joining Glacier Media, Mr. Smysnuik was CFO at Lower Mainland Publishing, a division of Hollinger International, and worked with Arthur Anderson within their Audit and Advisory practice.

Orest is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan.

Bernice Yip

CFO
MADISON PACIFIC PROPERTIES

Bernice has been the CFO of Madison Pacific Properties since 2021.

Bernice served as the Company’s Senior Director of Finance prior to her appointment as Chief Financial Officer. She also has many years of financial management experience having served in various senior financial roles during her career.

Bernice holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and has been a CPA since 2006.

Nathan Worbets

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, ASSET MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
MADISON PACIFIC PROPERTIES

Nathan brings a wealth of real estate experience and a passion for maximizing the value of a national portfolio. Having joined Madison in 2016 as Vice President, Development Nathan led the successful execution of various industrial and commercial development and renovation projects across the portfolio. His role has expanded to include strategic planning, development, acquisitions, asset management, lease negotiation and operational initiatives. With over 25 years of experience Nathan has held progressively senior roles throughout his career.

Prior experience includes various development roles over 16 years with Morguard Investments Limited across western Canada in retail, office, industrial and residential projects preceded by several years of residential property management experience in the Lower Mainland. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from UBC in Urban Land Economics and has been a CFA charter holder since 2004.

Nathan is a past President of the Real Estate Institute of BC and currently serves on the Development Issues and Government Relations Committee of the local Vancouver Chapter of NAIOP.

Rob Hackett

VICE PRESIDENT, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
MADISON PACIFIC PROPERTIES

Rob joined Madison Pacific in 2010 as Vice President, Property Management, and has over 35 years of property, facility, and asset management experience. Rob has previously worked with BUK Investments, Bentall, and BCR Properties. He holds both the RPA and FMA professional designations and is a licensed broker in Property Management services.

Peter Rees

VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT
MADISON GROUP

Peter joined the Madison Group in 2019, as Vice President, Corporate Development. In his role, Peter is involved in operational management in addition to managing capital raises, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships across the portfolio of businesses.

Prior to joining the Madison Group, Peter spent 15 years in the mining industry, where he was Chief Financial Officer for a number of US and Canadian publicly listed mining companies and a principal shareholder of the UMS Mining Group. During his tenure, the UMS Mining Group raised over $500 million in equity to fund the development of several successful mining companies. As CFO, Peter led the group’s financial, legal, M&A, and public equity offering functions.

Peter is a CPA, CA (2006), an alumnus of Deloitte, and holds a bachelor’s of Mechanical engineering from McGill University.

Peter Grippo

VICE PRESIDENT, INVESTMENTS
MADISON PACIFIC PROPERTIES

Peter joined Madison Pacific Properties in 2023 and is primarily responsible for deal sourcing and execution. Prior to joining Madison Pacific, Peter was Director, Business Development at Madison Group where he was tasked with sourcing and executing business development opportunities, as well as various strategic initiatives.

Before Madison, Peter spent 10 years with PwC where he was a Director in Corporate Finance, primarily assisting private businesses through divestiture processes, totalling over $1 billion in transaction volume.

Peter is a CPA, CA, having obtained his designation in 2013. He is a graduate of UBC.

Directors & Advisory Board

Sam Grippo

CHAIRMAN

Sam is a founding partner of the Madison Group and held the position of President and CEO from its inception in 1976 until 2020.

Under Sam’s leadership, the Group’s focus has not changed in close to 50 years and continues to be centred around investing in quality businesses and talented people. Sam maintains an active advisory role in all aspects of Madison’s activities and is currently Chairman of Madison Pacific Properties and Glacier Media.

Jonathan Rees

Jonathan joined Arthur Anderson in 1974 and has over 40 years of experience in senior positions within the real estate industry. Jon’s particular areas of expertise include finance raising through public equity offerings, syndications, and bank financing, as well as managing corporate re-organizations and restructuring.

Jonathan is a principal at PCRE Group, a private Vancouver-based real estate development firm and a director of Madison Pacific Properties.

Peter J. Bonner

Peter is President of PJ Bonner & Associates Ltd., a diversified holding company. He has more than 40 years of experience in the food service and hospitality business with properties across Canada.

A graduate of the UBC Faculty of Commerce, he was founder and CEO of The Spectra Group of Great Restaurants Inc. He currently sits on the boards of Madison Pacific Properties Ltd and Ames Tile and Stone Ltd.

Bruce Aunger

Bruce has 45 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and finance in Canada, and was the CFO of the Madison Group from 1988 to 2017. Mr. Aunger currently serves as a Director of Glacier Media and Unisync Corporation.

Mr. Aunger graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce.

Elizabeth Harrison, Q.C.

Elizabeth is a Partner at Farris LLP since 1973. Ms. Harrison provides legal advice on various matters including corporate finance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.

More recently, she was Chair of the Board of Directors of BC Ferries and was involved in the establishment of the BC Ferry Authority and BC Ferry Services Inc. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs.
